Since this console isn't being made by Nintendo, it obviously won't have any games built in, but it will play all original Game Boy cartridges and possibly Game Boy Color carts too. The tentatively-titled "Ultra Game Boy" is created to be a remake of one of the greatest selling consoles of all-time, brought up to speed with modern day display tech. The aluminum housing also makes it much more durable. The display is a backlit LCD (the backlight can be turned off) and Hyperkin intends to add a third dial allowing the display to be cycled through the entire RGB spectrum.
Hyperkin is looking to bring back the beloved Game Boy this summer.
The improvements don't stop there.
The prototype Ultra GB has a DC power connector, but the final version will charge through a USB-C port.
The new Game Boy system improves on the system's original hardware. I doubt many will complain about this, however.
Bears to hire Mark Helfrich as offensive coordinator
The situation is tricky, because Fangio was a candidate for the Bears' head coaching position that instead went to Nagy. Over 7 seasons Tabor managed to survive 2 owners, 5 general managers and 4 different head coaches with the Browns.
Then there's the sound system, which will include stereo speakers and two audio-out connections, reportedly as part of an effort to help electronic musicians generate high-quality songs from the device (yeah, people actually do that).
Hyperkin hasn't given a release date for the Ultra GB just yet but stated that it's aiming to launch by the end of the year. Hyperkin wants to sell the device for under $100, which I suppose is a fair deal given all of the improvements the company has implemented.
The original eight-bit Game Boy sold nearly 119 million units over its 14 year lifespan, and spawned a host of successor consoles. If you have some old Game Boy games lying around, you can now dust them off and relive the glory days. It doesn't come pre-installed with any games (it instead uses standard Game Boy cartridges), it still features volume and contrast dials, and its screen is roughly the same size as the original Game Boy's.
Eagles-Jaguars reportedly among several London games set for 2018 season
Philadelphia has yet to appear in a London game since the National Football League began sending teams overseas in 2007. The potential rematch of this year's AFC title game will take place in Jacksonville and will not take place in London.
NYC to divest from fossil fuel companies, sues 5 oil firms
De Blasio's office said climate change is "perhaps the toughest challenge New York City will face in the coming decades". The City has already set up a US$20bn resiliency programme to mitigate the worst effects of climate change.
Amazon Alexa will become your co-pilot in Toyota, Lexus cars
The pair are also working to make certain Alexa capabilities available to drivers when the vehicle is not connected to a network. With that in mind, Google set up a new page where you can find everything its AI Assistant is capable of.
